Midland Premier League 2007
The first match of the season produced some extremely tight races, and a very close overall result with the new Dundee City Aquatics team beating Perth City Blue by only 3 points (despite a few DQ decisions)! Perth City Red suffered from a number of DQs as well as missing swimmers, but still put in some excellent personal bests and very determined swims. Well done to all!

Inaugural Midland District Distance Meet - 4/5 November 2006 at Dundee - ENTRIES TO MORAIG BY 26th SEPTEMBER - £4 per event
Full details as posted on the notice board.
The aim of the meet is to allow swimmers the opportunity to achieve or improve their times for Distance events which may in turn allow them to qualify for entry to National events. Note that there will be no medals presented at this meet - it is for achieving qualifying times only.
All events are Heat Declared Winners. As this is the first time this event has been organised the boys are able to swim 1500m and the girls 800m - there is not enough time for boys and girls to swim both distances. The Midland District Swimming Committee ask that you bear with them as there are bound to be teething problems until the event settles down. If you do have constructive comments about the event please speak to the PCSC committee, or the Midland Committee.

PERTH CITY WON PREMIER LEAGUE MATCH AT PERTH with 178 points - a 35 point lead over CoD!
After a slow start in the medley relays the team picked up steam throughout the match, closing with a thrilling win over St. Thomas in the 15+ boys freestyle relay where Josh, John, Sean and Graeme put in a cracking performance that had the crowd on their feet.
This puts Perth City in an unassailable lead for the Midland District Premier League for 2006
Winners for four years in a row!
With the win from the First Division Team, Perth will have two teams in the Premier League in 2007!!
